Love Connection! What makes a successful relationship? Wine tasting & Gentle Partner Yoga!

Join us on Saturday February 11th at 3:30pm for a wine tasting followed by a talk on “What makes a relationship successful?” by Phil Miller, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified marital therapist. Then find a deeper connection with your partner in a gentle yoga practice.

During the wine tasting, courtesy of the Cork & Cow and our good friend Michelle Gibson, try a few different wines. Then pick a glass of your favorite to enjoy during Phil Miller’s amazing talk on relationships. Following a Q & A with Phil, our lovely yoga and aerial silks teacher, Michelle Spurlock, will guide you and your partner into some gentle partner yoga poses. Learn to breathe together and appreciate your connection. This event is not only intended for couples – bring a partner of your choice for a fun heart-opening event. No yoga experience is necessary: beginner yoga students are welcome! A special gift of homemade goodies will be given to each couple at the end of the event.

Register online before February 7th – $50 per couple. After February 7th $65 per couple. This is a private event at Zenitry. Register both you and your partner to reserve your spots today.

Inversion Workshop this Saturday 10am!

Yoga inversions (poses where your heart is higher than your head) have been called “the Fountain of Youth.” They reverse the effects of gravity, decompress the spine, improve circulation, and relieve fatigue and mental sluggishness. Most of all, they are fun and empowering!

In this workshop, you will learn poses to help prepare the body for inversions like headstand, handstand, and more. You’ll learn proper alignment and muscular engagements to help you find your balance and practice safely. Sometimes, the roadblock to inverting can be mental. So we’ll use plenty of props (including the white aerial silks you’ve seen hanging in the studio!) to help you invert with the comfort of being fully supported.

Join Michelle and Cricket, combined experience of teaching yoga for over twenty five years, for this fun, invigorating workshop!

*Even if you’ve never done an inversion before, this workshop is for you! However, some prior yoga experience is recommended.

Register and pay before June 15th – $30. After June 15th – $35.

3 Week Beginner Pilates Series – Begins May 25th at 7:30pm

If you’ve ever been curious about Pilates but were hesitant to jump into a class, this 3-week beginner workshop is for you.

Pilates is a no-impact, efficient, fun workout that strengthens and stretches your body with every exercise. In the first session, we will go over the basic tenets of Pilates and practice foundational exercises that Pilates builds upon. In the second and third sessions, we will move into basic Pilates exercises, learn modifications, and correct breathing. The idea is to learn the correct way to do each exercise to get the most out of it.

This is a no-pressure workshop designed to make each participant feel comfortable with Pilates and begin at their current fitness level.

If you register and pay by May 22nd – $38. After May 22nd – $45. Please click ENROLL (not enroll as unpaid) to get the discount.
